Q: How do I determine my players age for the upcoming season?
A: League age is determined by players age as of August 31st of the seasons year. For more info, you can visit our page to calculate your players age or see more info at Little League Baseball. Use this age to determine the divisions the players is eligible to play.
Q: Do I need to verify my players age every season?
A: No, only once in your first year at Union Little League.
Q: What are valid forms of proof of birth?

PLAYER VERIFICATION
Q: Is Address verification required for players of LL age 7 for younger?
A: No, only for players aged 8 or older. More info on this change can be found with Little League Baseball here

Q: I already uploaded all of the documents when I registered online. Do I still need to come to verification night?
A: You are still strongly encouraged to come to verification night anyway. This is a great opportunity to meet members of the league from the board to Coaches. You also can check the uniform sizes and learn about other opportunities for volunteering and fundraising.
Q: Is the verification night indoors and how long will it take?
A: Yes and les than 15 minutes
Q: For the school enrollment form, what is Union's little league ID?
A: Our Little League ID# is 4051215
VERIFICATION NIGHT
Q: Do I need to attend?
A: Yes, only takes a few minutes and allows us to ensure your player is fully verified, can check jersey sizes, purchase ULL merch and have any of your questions answered
PLAYER DIVISION
Q: I need to change the division I registered my child for. Can I change this?
A: Yes, attending verification night, you can make this change or contact the ULL Player Agent [email protected]

EVALUATION DAY
Q: What is the purpose of Evaluation Day? Is this a try out?
A: It is not a try out, all players will be on a team. This helps the league ensure teams are as fair and balanced as possible. Please see our page on Evaluations for more info.
TEAM ASSIGNMENT
Q: I want to ensure my kids are on the same team or not - Is this possible?
A: YES, you can make a request to have siblings in the same division drafted to the same team. Alternatively you can request to have siblings on separate teams. Go ahead and submit your request to the ULL Player Agent [email protected]before evaluation day to ensure it can be accommodated.
Q: I would like to ensure my player does or doesn’t have a certain coach before team assignment?
A: Team/Manager/Coach preferences cannot be accommodated but if there are any concerns with any managers or coaches please do contact the ULL Coaching Coordinator [email protected]
Q: When will we know what team my player(s) are on?
A: Team assignment is completed after player evaluations and before Start of February.
PRACTICES AND GAMES
Q: When will we know our practice schedule?
A: Managers are responsible for communicating and scheduling practices as soon as their team is assigned. NOTE: Managers have to account for their availability, their coaching staff availability and field availability.
Q: Will practices be scheduled at the same time/location every week?
A: That is a goal but we are constrained by the number of fields we can reserve and the number of teams.
Q: When will we know our Game schedule?
A: Game scheduled is typically released in February, preferably a week or more in advance of Opening day. Schedules are all available in the Game Changer app.
Q: Where are the games played at?
A: Primarily games are played at the ULL fields. Occasionally we are able to schedule and coordinate Intra-league games with neighboring Little Leagues. Those games will be split across their fields and our own.
Q: Where are the practices?
A: The practices will be at ULL fields and local schools such as Carlton, Dartmouth, and Noddin. More Info can be found on our website under League Info > ULL Baseball Fields
Q: How many games and/or practices a week?
A: Practices - February there will be 2-3 practices a week (1-2 on weekdays and 1 on Saturday). During the regular season (Mar-May) practices are up to Managers and field availability.
Games - 2 games a week (1 on a weekday and 1 on Saturday). No games on Sundays.
Q: What times are games and practices?
A: Weekdays: 4-7:30
Sat: between 8am to 7pm - dependent upon size of division.
Q: When will T-ball practices start? I haven't heard from my coach yet.
A: T-ball registration remains open to give new families more time to sign up. Teams will be formed and communicated, practices will start beginning of February and a practice schedule will be provided. More players can be added after practices start.
